Built above the thermal springs in the Varna region, Bulgaria, Palace Hotel provides a complete luxury experience.
The idea is based on the typical natural caves around Varna coast, formed in the soft limestone sediments.
The local stone became the driving inspiration for the design. Working with the natural surroundings, the Spa zone lays just between the forest and the sea. Stone, water and wood are interpreted, architecturally.
This space was designed for visitors to luxuriate and rediscover the ancient benefits of bathing. The combinations of light and shade and linear horizontal elements create a highly sensuous and restorative experience. Moving around this space means making discoveries.
